About Shiv Mandir Kapurthala  

This temple is situated in kapurthala district. kapurthala is also known as city of palaces or paris of punjab, which is 18 km away from jalandhar. This temple is the penitential (tapobhumi) of a Naga sadhu ie Followers of Lord Shiva. this temple is one of the oldest temple of kapurthala which was constructed more than 100 years ago and the shivling was here even before the temple was constructed. It is said that whoever come here and wish from his pure heart, his/her wish come true! The temple is being looked after and managed by the Mandir Committee. A Team of Selfless Workers under the care of committee are doing 'Nishkam Sewa' in the maintenance and developement of this holy place!

यह मंदिर कपूरथला जिले में स्थित है। कपूरथला को महलों के शहर या पंजाब के पेरिस के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, जो जालंधर से 18 किमी दूर है। यह मंदिर एक नागा साधु यानी भगवान शिव के अनुयायी की तपस्या (तपोभूमि) है। यह मंदिर कपूरथला के सबसे पुराने मंदिरों में से एक है जिसका निर्माण 100 साल से भी पहले हुआ था और मंदिर के निर्माण से पहले ही शिवलिंग यहां था। कहा जाता है कि जो कोई भी यहां आकर शुद्ध मन से प्रार्थना करता है, उसकी मनोकामना पूरी होती है! मंदिर की देखभाल और प्रबंधन मंदिर समिति द्वारा किया जा रहा है। समिति की देखरेख में निःस्वार्थ कार्यकर्ताओं की एक टीम इस पवित्र स्थान के रख-रखाव और विकास में 'निष्काम सेवा' कर रही है!
